Privacy and your data rights

How this website handles your data, and how to ask Tejesha about information concerning you.

This website

No cookies, analytics only if you agree
This website sets no cookies and uses no advertising or social media trackers. It uses Mixpanel analytics only if you choose Accept in the analytics prompt.
Analytics
If you accept, Mixpanel records which pages you visit (with your browser, device type, referring site and any campaign tags in the link), when you send the contact form (with the topic you chose, but not your name, email or message) and when you finish the personality test (without your answers or results). It keeps a random visitor ID in your browser’s local storage, and it uses your IP address to estimate your country and city without storing the address itself. Mixpanel processes this data for Tejesha. You can withdraw at any time with “Analytics choices” at the bottom of every page, which stops collection and clears the visitor ID from your browser.
Hosting
Pages are delivered by Amazon Web Services through Amazon CloudFront. As with any web host, it processes technical information such as IP addresses and browser details in order to deliver pages and protect the service.
Files, fonts and spam checks
Fonts, images and scripts load from tejesha.com. The contact and privacy forms also load Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person rather than a bot is sending the form. Cloudflare processes technical signals, such as your IP address and browser details, to make that check.
Personality test
The test runs entirely in your browser. Your answers are not sent to Tejesha or to anyone else.
Forms
When you send the contact or privacy form, what you enter comes to Tejesha. It is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure, forwarded to our team by email, and used only to respond to your message or request. To block spam we keep a one-way hash of your IP address, never the address itself.

Information about you in Tejesha

Tejesha estimates personality traits from writing people have published. If you think Tejesha may have analyzed your writing, you can ask us to:

  • tell you whether we hold information about you, and what it is
  • correct information that is wrong
  • delete information about you
  • leave you out of analysis in the future

You do not need a Tejesha account to make a request, and there is no charge. We reply by email, and we may ask you to confirm your identity before sharing or deleting anything.
